I Can't, We Can Tour, THEEDUCATORSNEWCLOTHES Gauteng Tour

Conversation on the state of education in Brazil. The current political party, made a move to improve education in the country a few elections ago. This was done by a small financial stipend given to all pupils attending school. This dramatically improved attendance, and the culture of learning in the country among the poor.
All education is free including university and the standard considered to be high. Recently there has been a decline in learning levels at school, with schools lower their standards. The general view on this is that it’s a move on the government’s part to ‘dumb’ down the populace and have a stock of undereducated unquestioning voters.
Although education is free, there are also private schools, catering for the affluent rich; maintaining a steady standard of quality education. A situation is now arising that students coming from these backgrounds, with their high level private educations, are filling the universities, thus shifting a balance, creating a wealthy educated elite.
