The Yellow Tree

theyellowtree.org is a private research project and a largely digital, collaborative platform for a broad range of interdisciplinary studies in pedagogy and identity dialogues.
We are interested in transformation in teaching and learning through digital research; in illuminating teaching and learning practices and ideologies; in dialogues related to developing, implementing and managing the learning of others; and, in trying to fathom the complexities and challenges that knowledge presents to all of us in the 21st Century.
Our research work embraces emerging epistemological shifts in digital knowledge production, reproduction and consumption. The project is a space and not a place. This framing mechanism immediately recognises the viability of diverse, separate/d research sites and practitioners to advance collaboratively, debates in pedagogy and identity in the 21st Century, with particular reference to, and resonance for, South Africa.
