balance needs to be established in education. The rational and cerebral needs
to be balanced with the body, emotions, the breath, the intuitive. These
‘other’ faculties are innate and we are trained/conditioned (often through our
parenting and later reinforced by schooling) to ignore them, lose touch with
them. Schools could include ‘subjects’ or follow structures which enhance and
develop these faculties. Education would be less about knowing and more about a
willingness to embrace and explore the un-known. Generating humans with greater
presence.
