BUS RIDE

Conversation with a lady, whose daughter is grade 10, is unwilling to learn and be responsible for her studies. The conversation opened up when another gentleman contributed, and the discussion moved into the issue of disciple, lack of consequences and dis-respect of learners toward their learning, school and teachers. The discussion became quite heated, the gentleman feels the break down in the culture of learning has a political motive behind it. He pointed out how the political motive could be seen according to the various provinces where the major education disruptions are taking place; according to him, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. He says the agenda is to favour the ruling party, to created disruptions, destabilizing the social terrain  and to develop a population which remains ignorant, gullible and manipulable.
