Open Streets 26 October

Open Streets was wonderful, in spite of the BITCH south Easter!
Three out of the four groups arrived. We set up with best friend Tita, outside her studio. She hauled out a Persian carpet, sofa, arm chair and Ricardo’s prototype wood off-cut benches. Friends arrived and joined the knitting and crocheting circle. It spontaneously tumbled into delightful arrangement in the moment, on the side walk and road, with ease and good humour. We made tea, ate biscuits and cake. Our station (corner lower main and Rochester) was way down from the central bits, some what isolated, but we held fort til the end.
